Looking for one big cottage to accommodate a family party or get together of friends? We may have a better idea!
While having everyone together under one roof sounds perfect, it can be equally nice to have somewhere “of your own” to get back to after the celebrating is over. Our Trehill and Long Barn cottages sleep 25 and 16 respectively.
Both options have main cottages with spacious lounges and dining areas for everyone to meet up in.
If you are looking for a cottage sleeping 16 or more people, you might like to consider booking either our Long Barn or Trehill cottages.
These two groups of cottages share the grounds and facilities of the 4 acre Trehill Estate (fishing, games room). Each group of cottages is separated by an extra large hedge & they are very different in design and the facilities that they offer.
With private indoor pool, hot tub & gym.
These modern cottages are situated in a delightful spot overlooking the main Trehill fishing pond.
There are 3 Long Barn cottages, Ash, Beech (2 bedrooms) and Hawthorn (4 bedrooms). They are all attached in one row making it easy to move between them.
For multi-generational parties it is worth noting that there are no steps in any of the cottages. Each cottage has a walk in shower/wet room and all cottages have wheelchair access.
Hawthorn has a large table seating up to 14 at a time, as well as a spacious lounge seating up to 16 with huge 50” TV.
Long Barn cottages have a private indoor pool, gym & hot tub. There is also an additional outdoor hot tub (there is an additional charge for this – see the Hawthorn page for more details).

These 3 traditional stone built cottages maintain a traditional farmhouse feel. Gulliver the largest cottage, has 6 bedrooms and a large dining room/kitchen with a table capable of seating up to 20 at a time.

Trehill cottages features its own small pool. Available seasonally (May 22 – September 1) it is heated and features an innovative dome covering keeping it warm and clean. The pool sits in a sunny spot with loungers where you can bask in the sun pretty much all day long! Opening hours 10:00-18:00. Dimensions 24’x10’x3’.

Pricing up a break in either Trehill or Long Barn cottages is simple. For full weeks, simply check availability for all the cottages you require & add up their combined prices.
For short breaks, just choose the cottages and number of days you are looking for. Add up their weekly prices & then apply the following...
3 nights or fewer – 70% of the weekly price
4 nights – 80% of the weekly price
5 nights - 90% of the weekly price
Sorry but smoking or pets are not permitted in our cottages.
All holiday cottages have access to an on site EV charger (shared)
