Trehill & Long Barn Cottages
The most scenic route (and probably the quickest) takes you over Dartmoor on the A30 from Exeter. At Launceston turn off the A30 and follow the signs for the A388 to Callington.
Go through Callington and turn right at the roundabout following signs to Liskeard. Follow signs to Liskeard again at the next round about and as you go down a steep hill for about 600m & turn left into Trehill Lane. This is the first proper turning on the left hand side.
Go up Trehill Lane & The entrance to Trehill Cottages is the fourth drive on the right. This is at least 350m past the turning.
You will see a 'Trehill & Long Barn Cottages' sign. Keys are picked up from the main house (with a very large front porch) as you come in the drive. If you are going to be late, just call & we will arrange for the keys to be available in your property.
From Exeter take the A38 past Plymouth, over the Tamar bridge and into Cornwall. At the first roundabout (near Saltash) turn right on the A388 to Callington & St Mellion.
You will go over a number of roundabouts. As you come into the village of St Mellion, you will see a roundabout with a left hand turn sign-posted “Pillaton” & “Polborder”. Take that left & follow the lane down a steep hill. After about ½ a mile you will see the Oakridge drive on your right.
Keys for The Gallery & Fairways are picked up from the Hotel reception at The St Mellion club, PL12 6SD. Reached by continuing through the village of St Mellion & turning left at the round about at the north end of the village.
Sunningdale, Wentworth & Treetops have key safes, so you just go straight to the property.
Take the A30 from Exeter as far as the Newquay turn off. From the A30 turn right onto the A392 to Newquay. At the second roundabout turn right onto the A3058 Newquay/Porth.
At the mini-roundabout go straight on (don’t turn right to Porth). You shall pass shops on your left side in Henver Road, then turn right into Lusty Glaze Road and follow signs to the Glendorgal hotel.
