As Holiday home owners, Lilliput is in many ways our favourite cottage. An imaginatively converted detached farm building, it has a secluded, peaceful location on the estate. Feature-packed, it has a sunny conservatory, hot tub & 2 en-suite bedrooms. The cottage is perfect for couples seeking a bit of extra space, or families that recognise the value of effectively having 2 lounge areas!
Lilliput has a main king bedroom, a good sized lounge with well equipped kitchen. There is also a further twin room. Both bedrooms feature en-suite shower rooms. With its open plan lounge as well as a sunny conservatory, it feels spacious & the inclusive gas central heating keeps it more than warm enough whatever the season!
The good-sized lounge has solid wood flooring, a solid wood dining set & plenty of seating for up to 4. There is a large flat screen TV with SKY entertainment channels a DVD player & extensive film library. Just off the lounge, through a sliding glass door (perfect for parents to escape to, but still able to keep an eye on the children) is the sunny conservatory. It is extremely rare for a 2 bedroom holiday cottage to have this extra space and we know how useful it has been to guests over the years.
The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine & fridge freezer and plenty of cupboard space.
The main bedroom has a king bed,, built in cupboards & en-suite with walk in shower. The twin room also has a separate en-suite shower room.
The sunny main patio with a hot tub, picnic table & BBQ is accessed via the conservatory. There is an charge of £35 per week & £25 per short break for the hot tub. The outdoor pool (summer only) is just a few steps from your front door & the main grounds and fishing ponds are just 30 seconds walk.
The Grounds… The Trehill estate, shared with the other Trehill Cottages & our Long Barn Cottages, stretches for over 4 acres. There is so much to do, you might choose never to go out! This includes - fishing, outdoor pool (seasonal), games room, children’s play areas as well as space to wander, relax or kick a ball about.

EV Charger – Fast charging at 7kw/hr. Electricity is charged at cost and should be less than 20p/KWH. This facility should be booked in advance.
