All of our cottages are less than 5 minutes from St Mellion and its magnificent golf and leisure facilities (except Glendorgal Sands).
Unlimited free golf is included at our Oakridge Cottages and is available for a modest upgrade fee at Trehill & Long Barn Cottages.

St Mellion is Cornwall's golf capital and its two courses are known to be amongst the finest in the country. The courses are complemented by great leisure facilities and a club house with bars restaurants and much more.
Championship Golf Returns to St Mellion!
St Mellion was the scene of some classic battles between the great golfers in the ‘80s & ‘90s. In 2011 St Mellion will host the PGA English Open, one of Europe’s top championships where the world’s top golfers will be competing for £2 million in prizes. |
There are two 18 hole championship courses at St Mellion, the signature Nicklaus Course was designed by the man himself. He has modestly described it as "amongst the finest galleried courses in the world" Neither course requires a handicap card although the Nicklaus course definitely qualifies as “challenging”!
The Old Course is currently being redevloped into the Kernow course, wtih a significant change in configuration. There wiull be some temporary tees and greens. These will have been substantially reduced by May 09, with the full course set for play towards the end of that year.

Whilst staying at Oakridge 2 persons are entitled to...
- FREE unlimited 7 day use of the Nicklaus & Old Course. Additional guests pay the members guest rate for the relevant course.
- Golf bookings can be made 30 days in advance direct with the club.
- Free buggies on the Nicklaus Course (subject to availability)
- Use the superb sports and leisure facilities free of charge (additional memberships can be purchased by the day or week). leisure and golf usage can be simultanous (ie 2 non golfers could use them while the golfers are out on the course.
At Trehill, these benefits can be added from £65 per person per week.
